Are the days zipping by as quickly for you as they are for me? OMGosh…. It feels as if hot summer days were last week!

The truth is, absolutely I love this time of year…. I love choosing which layer of clothing will keep me feeling cozy and warm, or cuddling into a fleece sweatshirt or blanket and wrapping myself into a small cocoon. I love the grey steel sky, the crystal blue one and the brisk crisp air that whips leaves around. Gathering those leaves, that is not always my favorite task.. haha, however, the steaming hot cup of apple cider warming my hands and the tip of my nose is!

I truly adore the dark morning hours embracing the last moments of night as the sun breaks into a new day – reminding me of Yotzer, a Hebrew prayer of gratitude for the creation of another new day. The anticipation of what will it bring, what choices will present themselves, what beauty awaits… this is the mindset of what I believe it means to step into something new.

Choice.

Each of us has this – choosing to steer away from negativity, pessimism, gossip – energetic drains on the body, mind or spirit. Each of us has this – choosing to steer away from negativity, pessimism, gossip – energetic drains on the body, mind, emotions and spirit. My new workshop series: “Joy and Smiles” addresses these areas with fun and presence for participants for feel more heart centered and compassion as they become more effective decision makers. Why is this important for daily living? You and I, we always have a choice – in every decision we make whether it is to participate in a conversation, eat a candy, feel separate or participate in a new way. There are times when “alone time” is healing and necessary – and there are times, when as humans, we use this as an escape. How can you more fully participate in your life today?

Yes – this takes a conscious commitment to oneself.

Yes – it may feel scary at times

Yes – stepping out of one’s comfort zone into a space of courage means you are part of the change, and the change becomes part of you.

I ask you: what are you ready to step-up into in the coming month?
